My journey began in Puerto Rico where I was born, but a year and a half later, my family decided to move to Kansas. Which is where I grew up for the majority of my life. Raised by a strong, single mother who immigrated from Mexico, I learned the values of resilience, hard work, and the importance of family early on. As the eldest sibling with two younger sisters, responsibility was my constant companion, shaping the person I am today.

Life wasn’t always about finance for me. My first love was music. As a music teacher at an elementary school and a staff member for a high school marching band, I found joy in teaching. My passion for music led me to sing in numerous competitions and travel, performing with top ensembles and experiencing the thrill of the stage and the joy of connecting with audiences far and wide.

However, life has a way of nudging us towards paths we never anticipated. Despite my love for teaching, the reality of making ends meet as a teacher hit hard. This led me to explore new horizons, igniting my interest in finance thanks to a friend. This curiosity blossomed into a career that not only offered stability but a platform to make a difference.

My personal journey took another turn when love and life led me to Virginia, marking my first adventure living out of state due to my partner’s military commitment. This move wasn’t just a change of scenery; it was the birthplace of my full-time venture into financial consulting and the realization that I wanted to contribute more to the world.

Drawing from my own experiences of living paycheck to paycheck, facing financial hurdles, and overcoming adversity without a fatherly figure, I found my calling in public speaking. I aim to be the voice that reminds people that despite the odds, there is a way out, a path to achieving their dreams, fueled by financial literacy and unwavering determination.

Through my financial services and public speaking engagements, I strive to guide others towards a brighter, more secure future. My mission is to share the lessons I’ve learned, the mistakes I’ve made, and the strategies that helped me triumph over challenges, hoping to inspire and empower every person that crosses my path.
